Look! Before the activity started, the teachers had prepared all the materials needed in the game, including water of different colors, containers, bowls of corresponding colors, and syringes.

快看！活动开始前，老师就已经准备好了游戏中所有需要用到的所有材料，包括不同颜色的水、容器、对应颜色的碗、以及针筒。

还有***重要的，是为孩子们提供挑战、或者说问题式的引导：“Can you fill each bowl with the correct amount of liquid?”(你能把正确容量的水装进碗里吗？) 有了这些具有挑战性的问题和吸引人的工具，孩子们常常络绎不绝地来到感官盘旁，自发地开始游戏。

1. Based on children's experience, teacher Lucky introduced the use of the new material (syringe) and the rules of the game at the end of the Circle Time activity, such as how to operate and check the scale of the syringe.

基于孩子已有经验，教师在圆圈活动结束前介绍新玩具（针筒）的使用方法和游戏规则，例如：如何操作和查看针筒刻度。

2. The children began to play the experiment, measuring the volume of water with syringes. (Math & Physical Development)

孩子们开始玩容量实验，用针筒测量水的体积。（M&PD）

Free Flow Time! When the kids saw all the materials and the challenging games prepared in the classroom, the children joined one after another, picked up the syringes, measured the water, and put it into the bowls.

Free Flow时间到！当看到教室中准备好的教具和挑战游戏，孩子们纷纷加入其中，拿起针筒，量出相应刻度的水，装入碗中。

In this process, children learned the concepts of more and less, tried to fill and empty a container, and solved size problems involving measures in daily life (Math-shape, space and measurement)

在这个过程中，孩子们学习多和少的概念，尝试把一个容器装满和清空，并且解决日常生活中涉及测量的问题（M数学-形状、空间与测量）

3. Children record the experiment (Literacy & Assessment)

孩子们记录实验过程（L&A）

For children in K3 level, the mathematics learning goals is further deepened. On the basis of measurement, the goal of record is added: “Measure and begin to record the following: lengths and heights; mass/weight; capacity and volume.” (Math-shape, space, and measure)

对于K3年龄段的孩子来说，在数学学习目标上进一步加深了难度，在测量、读数的基础上，增添了记录书写的目标：“测量和开始记录：长度和高度; 质量或重量; 容量和体积。”（M数学-形状、空间与测量）

At the same time, the recording session was also one of the ways for teachers to make daily instant evaluations. Through the performance of the children during the experiment and the recorded results presented, teachers could understand the children's current development level and make targeted plans for the next steps.

同时，记录环节也是老师们进行日常即时性评价的方式之一，借由孩子们在实验过程中的表现及呈现的记录结果，了解孩子现有发展水平，针对性地制定下一步计划。

4. Play in turns and cooperate to clean up after the game. (Personal, Social and Emotional Development & Physical Development)

轮流使用，并在结束实验后合作清理。（PSED&PD）

Children cooperated and took turns to play with others. In this process, they learn to consider the ideas and needs of others, gradually build empathy, and make good interpersonal relationships with their peers. (PSED: Personal, Social and Emotional Development-making relationship) At the same time, the clean-up after the Free Flow activity also improves the children's self-management and self-care ability (PD: Physical Development-health and self-care).
