Last week, our Crownaura EYFS Academy General Inspector Ms. Kay visited Crown Dream BaoAn Kindergartens in ShenZheng. She carried out an EYFS teaching observation in each class room. Ms. Kay has observed good EYFS practices in the Kindergarten e.g. children had opportunities to explore sensory play freely which help develop their fine motor skills and language skills, teachers was able to use open-ended questions to stretch children’s curiosity and children’s independence were encouraged throughout activities etc.

上周，我们的EYFS教研中心全国总督学Kay女士从英国远道而来，对位于深圳宝安的冠萃鸿景园幼儿园进行视察和指导。她认真仔细地在每个班级中进行观察，并指出教师在教学中的亮点，例如：通过对感官游戏的自主探究，幼儿发展了自身的小肌肉运动能力和语言能力；教师可以利用开放性问题激发幼儿的好奇心；幼儿的独立性也能够在活动中得到鼓励和良好的发展等。

Overall Ms. Kay feels that “the children in Crown Dream are very lucky, and the teachers have shown their passions for teaching in early years.”

Kay女士赞叹道：“在冠萃生活和学习的幼儿很幸运！”关于教师，她认为冠萃的教师团队也展现出了极高的幼儿教育热情。

Ms. Kay then provided all the teachers with “Schemas” training. “Schemas” are those repeated patterns seen in children’s behaviours and they link directly to the development and strengthening of cognitive structures in the brain. Crown Dreams teachers has learnt to identify “schemas” which help teachers stretch and challenge children’s learning, as well as tune into their interests and fascinations.

在对一线工作进行了观察和指导之后，Kay女士对全体教师进行了以“Schemas” 为主题的培训。简单来说，“Schemas”指的是幼儿的重复性行为，这些行为能够直接促进幼儿大脑中认知结构的发展。通过培训，教师们认识并学会如何识别“Schemas”，并利用其延伸和拓展幼儿的学习、发现他们的兴趣点。

In Crown Dream, we also believe that regular on-going staff training and development is fundamental, which helps our teachers continuously refresh their skills. Therefore, further EYFS training will be carried out to ensure outstanding EYFS practice is demonstrated in the Crown Dream International Kindergarten.
