When a child takes his/her stumbled steps to leave the home and enter the kindergarten experiencing the GROUP life, which also leave concerns for his/her family. In order to help parents to better understand children’s daily life in the kindergarten, and better complete the home-kindergarten education, CDIK Baoan campus arranged the open day event, inviting parents to be accompanying children with the things that they done in the classroom, in the campus.

当孩子迈着稚嫩的步伐，离开家的港湾，进入幼儿园的集体生活，从此就成了家人的牵挂。为了让家长更好地了解幼儿在园的学习、生活情况，更好地达到家园共育的目的，我园开展了本学期的家长开放日活动，邀请家长们走进幼儿园，走进班级，直击幼儿成长***现场。

HOW to stimulate children's learning and development in EYFS

结合EYFS，我们是怎么去促进孩子的学习和发展呢？

The well-designed enabling environment can provide perfect teaching support for children in the seven learning areas in EYFS. The intertwined seven areas contribute to the overall development of children. With the careful guidance, children can grow up healthily, and lay a solid foundation for their future learning and development.

我们的教学环境都是经过精心设计的，可以为孩子们在七大领域的学习提供完善的教学支持。值得注意的是，这七个领域相互交织，并有助于孩子的***发展。在老师们的悉心教导下，孩子们将会健康茁壮成长，并为今后的学习发展做好铺垫。

The famous educator Mr. Tao Xingzhi wrote: "Life is education, we can learn through life." During the daily routine, children can learn from the decorations in the classroom that created by themes and children's interests. Teachers will also arrange activity with high-quality: circle time, Focused activities, free flow, PE, etc.

***教育家陶行知先生提出:“生活即教育,一日生活皆课程。”在实施一日生活皆课程的过程中，老师们除了根据主题和孩子的兴趣进行班级环创之外，还会组织高质量的Circle time、Focused activities、Free flow和PE activities等等。

Circle Time

As a daily activity in kindergartens, circle time has become the most anticipated part of Gumi. Whether it is organized by a foreign teacher or a Chinese teacher, children will actively participate actively.

作为幼儿园每天例行的活动，围圈时间也成为了孩子们***期待的环节。无论是外教老师还是中教组织的围圈活动，孩子们都会兴奋积极主动地参与其中。

In Circle Time, teachers usually discuss life-relative topics with children, such as dates, weather, and holidays. At the same time, different children will change the flash card of dates every day as a ‘small leader’.

在围圈活动中，老师通常会与孩子们探讨一些常识性话题，例如日期、天气、节日等。同时每天都会有不同的小朋友为大家改换日期等一系列的内容。

How focused Gumi are! In Circle Time, children not only learn the common sense they need, but also increase their knowledge of English.  At the same time, they must also exert their sense of responsibility and actively participate in classroom affairs.

看我们的孩子多认真~在围圈时间的过程中，孩子们不但了解所需要的的常识，增长了英语知识，同时还锻炼了积极参与班级事务的责任感，可谓是一举多得！

In the English focused activities, foreign teachers gradually share and interact with children through interesting games, flashcards, stories, videos and songs that combine themes. In the activity, children will take turns and listen, learn to respect, to cooperate, to build self-confidence, and to improve English expression skills, etc.

在英文的集体活动中，外教老师们通过趣味性的游戏、结合主题的Flash cards、故事、视频、歌曲等等和孩子们循序渐进的分享与互动，在活动中，孩子们懂得轮流发言、学会倾听、学会尊重、学会合作、培养自信、提高英语的表达能力等等。

Focused Activities

At CDIK, teachers will formulate personalized teaching plans based on the uniqueness and current level of each child's development, adopt personalized teaching methods, teach children in groups, by supporting growth of children and design focused activities for target children.

在冠萃国际，针对每个孩子发展的独特性和现有水平，老师会制定个性化的教学计划，采取个性化的教学方式，对幼儿进行小组教学，设计聚焦活动，锁定目标儿童，有目标、有计划地支架幼儿的成长。

In the group activities, teacher will designed games to help children learn and develop in seven main areas (CL, PSED, PD, M, L, UW and EAD).

Free Flow

In Free Flow, provide materials and resources with multi alternations to help children explore independently. They can decide what to play, who to play with, where to play and how to play.  Through the exploration and experience of the game, the barriers between children are broken -- children desire to explore with their natural curiosity. They are willing to try the unknown. In fact, children are easy to accept and have a strong ability to imitate; between learning and playing, children will use a lot of repetitive actions and behaviors to explore combining their own experience. Playing games, this is the performance of [game and exploration] participating in effective learning functions.

提供适应不同能力的材料与资源，孩子们可以独立地探索。他们决定自己玩什么、和谁玩、在哪儿玩、怎么玩。幼儿通过游戏的探索和体验，打破彼此间的隔阂，是因为孩子们有天生的好奇心和探索欲。对于未知的东西，他们乐于尝试，孩子的接受度其实很高，拥有很强大的模仿能力；在学习玩耍之间，孩子不仅会利用大量重复的动作和行为去探索，还会结合自己的经验去玩游戏，这就是有效学习特征中【游戏及探索】参与的表现。

Teachers provide children all kinds of materials in "sets". Every child has his own way of playing, and every child can get something through it. In the process of play and learning, children form self-awareness through constant imitation and exploration, establish connections between different concepts, pay attention to certain specific behaviors, and choose their own ways of doing things. This is the "creative and critical thinking" among the characteristics of effective learning: children have and can develop their own ideas, establish connections between ideas, and develop strategies for doing things.

教师给孩子提供“成套”的、开放的材料，每个孩子都有自己的玩法，每个孩子都能有所收获。幼儿在游戏与学习过程通过不断模仿与探索，形成自主意识，在不同的概念之间建立联系，注意到一些特定的行为模式，从而选择自己做事的方式。这就是有效学习特征中的【创造性&批判性思维】：幼儿拥有并能发展自己的想法，在想法之间建立联系，并制定做事策略。

Provide long-term focused games instead of one-time teaching activities. In addition to having enough time, space and abundant materials, the teacher will also try to minimize environmental noise and remind children not to interfere with others.

提供长时间的专注游戏，而不是一次性的教学活动。除了充足的时间、空间与丰富的材料，老师还会尽量减少环境噪音，提醒孩子们不要干扰别人。

EYFS attaches great importance to children's learning while playing, and makes full use of children's nature, so that children can develop healthy and good behaviors through the cooperation of teachers and parents during play. Children learn and explore and perceive the world while playing. Teachers will also provide support for each child's ‘next steps’ through observation, thinking and planning. The requirements of the EYFS on kindergarten’s environment is not only create a comfortable and safe campus for children, but also provide protection for the growth of children in seven major areas. Children may learn in odd ways, but in the completely open environment in kindergarten and teachers' support, children will lay solid foundation for future learning by realizing the core educational goal of "playing and learning".

EYFS教育体系非常注重孩子在玩的过程中学习，充分利用孩子的天性，从而让孩子在玩的过程中，通过老师与家长的配合，使孩子形成健康良好的意识和行为习惯。孩子们在玩中学习，在玩中探索和感知这个世界，老师们还会通过观察、反思和计划去为每个孩子做下一步的支持。英国的EYFS体系中对幼儿园环境创设的要求不仅为孩子营造了一个舒适安全的家，还为孩子在七大领域的发展提供了保障。孩子们也许会通过千奇百怪的方式来学习，而园所中充分开放的环境以及老师对孩子成长探索的有利支持，都为实现”玩中学“这一核心教育目标，奠定了坚实的基础。

PE Activities

Health is the foundation for children to become talents. Before exercise, we will do warm-up exercises together. They are the young plants, buds that are about to bloom, and young eagles with bright wings, ready for their first try. Let's check the wonderful performances of Gumi!

健康是孩子成才之根本，运动前我们会一起做热身操，可爱的孩子们像一株株的新苗，像即将盛开的蓓蕾，像一只只亮翅的雏鹰，时刻准备着***次飞翔。让我们一起看一看孩子们的精彩表现吧！

After warming up, we started a large-scale physical exercise together and developed basic physical exercises for children while exploring various equipment. Let's see what they done!

Cooperation 

After the open day, the teacher summarized the activities and explained to parents the secrets of the growth of children in kindergarten. Parents are happy to see the growth and change of their children. If the child is a boat ready to go, the home-school education is the oars of the boat, help it sail and keep it safe.

在开放日后，老师结合本次放开日活动精心总结，并向家长共同解读幼儿在园成长的秘籍，为孩子成长保驾护航。家长们纷纷感慨孩子们的成长蜕变，收获了满满的感动与喜悦。如果说孩子是一艘前行的船，家园共育就好比船左右两边的船桨，同前后，同方向，才能使船儿更远行。
