The teacher used gifs and pictures to show children the shape of the fish and the characteristics when fish swimming in the water, giving children a vivid and interesting introduction.

老师通过图片和动图，先向小朋友们展示介绍了鱼儿的具体形态以及鱼儿在水中游动的特点，给了小朋友们一个生动而有趣的导入。

Then the teacher began to explain today's main character -- the Fish Lantern Dance of Shatoujiao Subdistrict.

接着老师开始讲解今天的主角-沙头角鱼灯舞。

The Fish Lantern Dance is a unique folk dance in Shalanxia village, Shatoujiao Subdistrict. It originated from the late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty for more than 300 years history. Fish Lantern Dance is a combination of Lantern Dance Custom（in the 15th of the first lunar month） and local’s fishing experience. It is a combination of dance, instrumental music, arts and crafts. Through the fish lantern, people show the living habits and chasing, hunting, fighting and their bravery and cooperation scenes of all kinds of fish, which reflects the fishermen's careful observation and understanding of it, and reposes their good wishes for life.

沙头角鱼灯舞是沙头角沙栏吓村一种独特的民间舞蹈，起源于明末清初，历经三百多年的沿袭，流传至今。鱼灯舞是人们结合元宵舞灯习俗和海上捕鱼的生活经验而产生的，集舞蹈/器乐/工艺/美术为一体。人们通过鱼灯表演出各种鱼类的生活习性和追逐，捕食，斗智斗勇，团结协作的场景，体现出渔民对鱼类的细致观察和认识，也寄托了对生活的美好愿望。

Gumi not only understood what is the Fish Lantern Dance, but also understood the production technology of the fish lantern -- First, the fish lantern is made with bamboo strips in a fish shape, pasted with gauze, painted with yuanfen / kraft glue and pigment, and then coated with tung oil. More over, a small stick with 20 cm length is installed under the fish belly, so that the performers can dance with holding it.

萃宝们不仅了解了什么是鱼灯舞，也认识了鱼灯的制作工艺，鱼灯制作精细，种类繁多。鱼灯舞的道具制作精巧，鱼灯要先用竹蔑扎成鱼的形状，糊上纱纸，用元粉/牛皮胶和上颜料画鱼，再涂上桐油。还要在鱼腹之下装一条20厘米长小棍，表演者以此举鱼灯起舞。

Hands on experience to carry forward cultural heritage

After a while, a fat, lovely and vivid fish appeared, which greatly stimulated children's interest in intangible cultural heritage, and Gumi are enjoyed in experiencing the fun of making their own small fish lanterns.

萃宝们纷纷拿起小剪刀，沿着虚线把老师提供的小鱼儿剪下来，不一会，一条胖胖的、可爱的、生动的小鱼便出现在孩子们的手中，大大激发了孩子们对非遗文化技艺的兴趣。小萃宝们可是体验了一番自己制作小鱼灯的乐趣。

At last, the teacher invited some Gumi, with their small fish lantern, came to the stage and performed a Fish Lantern Dance for everyone. Seeing the cutie dance performed by Gumi, all there are cheered up with warm applause.

Value in Game, Culture Left in Children's Heart

The activity of intangible cultural heritage has come to an end. In this sharing, teachers and children deepen their understanding of intangible cultural heritage, closer to it, appreciate it and love it, so as to protect and disseminate the intangible cultural heritage consciously. Through this activity, we believe that all Gumi can build up the respect and understanding of the motherland's cultural heritage and enrich their knowledge on their road of growth.

非遗进校园活动在萃宝们不舍中落下帷幕，老师和孩子们在活动当中不仅加深了对非遗的认知，也更加亲近非遗，欣赏非遗，热爱非遗，从而有意识地保护非遗，传播非遗。文化的传承是涓涓细流，润物无声，只要有传播，就一定会有传承和发展。通过本次活动，相信我们的小萃宝们可以从小树立对祖国文化遗产的崇敬和了解，在成长的道路上丰富知识储备和思想情操。
