As of November, the recorded earthquake (the magnitude of over 5) is more than 30, what’s more, this year is also the 44th anniversary of the Tangshan earthquake. In just 23 seconds, Tangshan, the important industrial city in China with a population of one million, was instantly razed to the ground, and more than 240000 fresh lives were buried in the rubble. We should remember the day that passed, at the same time, we should prepare our children for keeping safe in the event of when an earthquake comes. Therefore, CDIK Baoan Campus Kindergarten organized the teachers and children to carry out an earthquake drill on the morning of November 24.

自今年以来，全国5级以上的地震就高达30次。今年更是唐山大地震44周年。在1976年7月28日，仅仅23秒，河北唐山这个拥有百万人口的工业重镇瞬间被夷为平地，24万多鲜活的生命葬身瓦砾之中。我们在记住昨天的同时，更应该在日常的演练中，学会地震来临时的基本自救技能。为此，冠萃鸿景园校区在11月24日上午组织全校师生进行防震应急疏散演练。

Before the drill, the teachers of all classes discussed with the children how to protect ourselves and evacuate safely when an earthquake happened.

演练前，各班老师和孩子们共同学习了地震的自我保护和逃生撤离的方法、线路。

The school warning siren was activated at 9：30. All the children and teachers stopped their activities, immediately sheltered under classroom tables, holding onto desk-legs and ensuring their whole body was covered by the desk. 

9点半，各班孩子都在开心地进行着各项活动。突然警报系统发出奇怪的警报声，老师和孩子们意识到地震到来了，所有的孩子和老师立即停止活动。老师马上安抚孩子们切莫惊慌，立刻躲到课桌下，抓着课桌的腿，确保他们的整个身体都被课桌盖住。

Once the bell has been rung the second time, the children and teachers quickly left the classrooms and moved to their evacuation roll call place orderly before any aftershock may occur. 

警报系统第二次发出警报时意味着地震过去了。趁着余震还未来到，老师与孩子迅速撤离活动室。各位老师各司其职，帮助孩子迅速地有秩序撤离到疏散点。

After the bell rang the third time, the drill has come to end. Teachers of each class spoke to the children about the earthquake drill by: giving feedback on the drill, praising them on their sensible behaviour and their good listening, for following instruction quickly, and helping others on the way.

警报系统第三次发出警报时，演练圆满结束。老师和孩子们总结了地震演习的情况：对孩子们快速地遵守指令、在路上帮助他人以及它们敏锐的行动和警觉性给予了肯定。
